What you're paying for.

The app and your agents run on your own computer and your own plans. We only charge for the parts that run on our servers.

Why is the app free?

Your agents run on your own Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Grok subscriptions, and the app runs on your own Mac. That costs us almost nothing, so we don't charge for it.

Am I paying for AI twice?

No. Agentic Friends never resells model usage. What your agents spend goes on the plans you already have, and you can see the cost of each task in the ledger.

What counts as cloud?

Anything that runs on our servers: the relay that links your computers, the door that lets ChatGPT in, the cloud board, and memory backup. Everything else stays on your Mac.

Can I connect my PC without Pro?

Yes. You can run your own relay on your own Cloudflare account. It takes a few Terminal commands. Pro will do it for you with a short pairing code.

Do I need a cloud server?

No. It's optional, for people who want friends working while every computer they own is off. The server is yours, on your own DigitalOcean account, and they bill you directly.

Is there a discount for paying yearly?

Yes, 20% off. Pro is $144 a year instead of $180, and Team is $192 per seat instead of $240.
